Orange Purple Swirl Batik-watercolor brush cloth -4.5x5 inch,reusable towel

As an artist and watercolor maker I love the idea of using less paper towels. I have made a few quilts and had so much fabric just sitting around I decided to make them into brush cloths.

Traditionally these are made with a Terry cloth backing. If you have ever cut a Terry cloth towel you know that they shed everywhere. I opted for a different absorbent material for my backing.

This towel features a waffle fabric commonly used in bibs and burb cloths.

Each cloth measures approximately 4.5 x 5 inches.
The fabric has been washed in warm water using fragrance free detergent. I recommend washing in cold water or hand washing and air dying to prevent any additional shrinkage.

These are made with love and the artist in mind so some may be a bit askew but I think that makes it special and not so cookie cutter.

Both the front and back fabric as well as the tags and thread are 100% cotton.
